This is the first of three community workshops offered by The Learningden Preschool for parents and expecting parents who want to come and learn how to make their home healthier and more eco friendly. The Junior League of Santa Barbara (JLSB) is hosting its second annual Kids in the Kitchen event, Spring into Health Day, for children and parents on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Franklin Elementary School from 10am - 1pm.

This year, we have partnered with like-minded community organizations and experts who are working to prevent childhood obesity. Through this joint effort, we have created a day of fun that will also provide health education to the families of Santa Barbara. The Health Day Fair will include wholesome food, active games, and fun exercises. Attendees will receive a healthy lunch, provided by Laurel Lyle, executive chef at Peabody School. This event is Free!
