Happy Holidays!
Dear Businesses, Nonprofits, and Schools,
THANK YOU for supporting families in our community with your listing in our directory.
SBParent.com continues to grow with more than 1 million monthly hits and 8,500+ people receiving our weekly newsletter. We have many out of town families that use the site as well for their Santa Barbara vacations and re-locations.
We have enjoyed the opportunity to connect each of you to local parents and we are looking forward to introducing you to some new and exciting things for 2010 that will benefit your organizations and create more interaction for parents.
- We have a new Blog Network.... PARENTCLICKBLOGS.com was launched so that we could support parents and businesses. This is ideal if you do not have easy access to your own site or if you do not currently have a website. You can set up a mini website at no cost and post information or journal about a topic. You will have a unique domain (ie: JaneSmith.ParentClickblogs.com). Great for a classroom, sports team, special needs group because it allows you to share information, schedules, photos and more and others can comment on your blog. View blogs >>
- New SITE DESIGN and functionality... In 2010 we will be rolling out a new site with more social networking opportunities for our parent users and a business dashboard that will allow organizations to manage their own listings. Listings will all include a profile page that will have up to date information about your business, a map, ad space and much more. We will have a more defined and rotating ad space on the right bar of the site. There will also be a business networking area that includes your business card and contact information. Parents will also be able to post testimonials/comments on events and businesses.
- Our CAMP GUIDE will be done this year in partnership with California Coast Parent and it will be better than ever. The print version will be available starting on February 27th and distributed at the Kids Expo and then throughout Santa Barbara County. There is one special rate with your paid listing... $300 includes an ad in the magazine camp section (which will also include a complete sbparent.com directory list and 2 ads in our eNewsletter Guide that goes out in April and again in June. There is limited space so contact us immediately. Be sure to add all your camps to the camp calendar since this is a big help to parents. Print media package rates >>
- BUSINESS MEMBERSHIPS were implemented last quarter as a way to support businesses through this tough economy. This will now be the base for all of our listings which will be reflected when you receive your annual renewals. A Business Membership is limited information and does not include a profile page but it does put your contact information and website link in front of more than 24,000 families a month. 2010 Advertising menu: $45 Annual Business Membership + $355 Full Directory Listing ($155 nonprofits) Listing Information >>
- Our 2010 Newsletter EDITORIAL CALENDAR is available. Let us know which issues you would like us to reserve an ad space for you. 2010 Newsletter ad fee: $100. Click to view the 2010 EDITORIAL CALENDAR >>

This year, we have sponsored more than 50 local events to show our commitment to supporting our community. As promised, we have donated $2,500 to various organizations which is 10% of our sponsor fees. A big thank you to all of our sponsors that make this happen each year.
